b. Need for Reform of Victorian Disability Advocacy Services
We are concerned about the lack of individual advocacy support for families of those with severe and profound autism, especially in times of critical need. We have identified issues including accountability, transparency, resourcing, regulation and training that are in major need of reform by the Victorian government. We will be distributing this document to government, disability services and advocacy agencies. You can reference items from this document – but please acknowledge AFSA as the source.
