Housing Options for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder

We have prepared this position paper to highlight our three major concerns with the provision of housing options for our family members with autism, especially those with severe and profound autism.  Our concerns are lack of suitable housing, lack of urgency and lack of action.  We will be distributing this document to government, disability services and advocacy agencies.  You can reference items from this document – but please acknowledge AFSA as the source.
